Jessica Alba has been making headlines with her boyfriend, Danny Ramirez, lately, but her priorities have always been her children. Over the weekend, the Honey star was spotted with her middle child, Haven, and they had a delicious lunch date: tacos.
The mother-daughter duo hit the town on Sunday, grabbing a bag of food from Tacos 1986 in Los Angeles, which is known for their delicious Tijuana-style tacos.
Always a cool mom, Alba was dressed in an oversized navy sweatsuit, a white baseball cap, and a chic crossbody bag. She wore blue Y2K-inspired sunglasses and big silver heels, bringing the Latina energy for their taco date.
14-year-old Haven Warren looked casual and comfortable with a gray hoodie, pink shorts, crew socks, and comfortable shoes. She was in charge of making sure the spicy goodness stayed safe as she carefully carried a variety of red and green salsas.
Their outing came after National Daughters Day, which Alba shared a heartfelt tribute to both Haven, 16, and Honor, on Instagram writing: “Happy #NationalDaughtersDay to my babies - my whole heart, my best friends, my teachers, my everything." "To be your mama is the biggest blessing of this life - thank you for giving me grace and unconditional love. You and me forever and ever,” she continued.
A transitional period for the family
Alba shares Haven with her ex-husband, Cash Warren, along with their oldest daughter, Honor, and youngest, Hayes, 7. It's no secret that the family has been in the middle of a transitional period following their divorce in February.
The patriarch moved out of the family home, which they sold, and Alba purchased a $4.75 million Spanish-style Beverly Hills sanctuary for her and the kids to call home.
Amid the changes, the former couple has always made it clear that their kids come first. While Alba has moved on with Ramirez, Warren has been spotted with two young twenty-year-olds for the last couple of months.
A source told Us Weekly that Alba and Warren remain deeply in love, and their well-being is always the priority. "They are incredibly protective of their kids’ privacy and well-being, so introducing new partners would be taken very slowly and only once a relationship is stable and serious,” the insider explained.
And while some people might see Warren’s age-gap relationships as a bit off, a source told Us Weekly, “The age difference [with their younger partners] is not a big deal. They think it’s common in Hollywood, so there’s no issue. They are cool with each other dating,” they added.
