Lady Gaga is excited to celebrate her fiancé, Michael Polansky.
On Friday, Sept. 26, the Mayhem singer shared a touching Instagram post in celebration of Polansky’s 42nd birthday. The Grammy-winning artist, born Stefani Germanotta, wrote a heartfelt note to her partner alongside three photos of the couple showing affection. One shot featured the two kissing on a farm while goats looked on.
Another photo showed them wrapped in each other’s arms in front of a food truck, and the final image highlighted his birthday cake topped with a single candle.
“Happy Birthday to my honey,” she began in her caption. “I hope 42 is your best year yet, you have done so much in your 42 years I am so proud of you every day---and so grateful for this day you came into the world, it was the most special day.”
She continued, “This is my favorite day of the year! A crisp and almost rainy day, a long walk, with the backdrop of a sweet birthday smile and lots of laughter and angel food cake with chocolate sauce.”
“Even this goat knows what a happy day your birthday is to me😊,” she added. “I love you 💋.”
This public celebration follows Gaga’s earlier shout-out to Polansky at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 7, where she won Artist of the Year. The following day, she posted another loving Instagram tribute, reflecting on their work together for her sixth studio album, Mayhem.
"Dreaming up this album, making the plan, building every vision with you — talking endlessly about what we would create and do for monsters has been an experience I could not have ever imagined," Gaga wrote. She added, "Having your creative partnership in our art, business and in love--is a love I've never known.”
Gaga has previously shared that Polansky was the one who encouraged her to rediscover the "joy" of pop, which shaped the sound of Mayhem. He even co-wrote several songs on the project, including “Disease” and “Vanish into You.”
The pair’s engagement first became public during the Summer Olympics in Paris in July 2024, when Gaga introduced him as "my fiancé" while attending a swimming event with him and French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal.
Later, in her October 2024 Vogue cover story, Gaga revealed that Polansky had proposed while they were rock climbing together.
