Selena Gomez, 33, and music producer Benny Blanco, 37, are preparing to say “I do” in what’s shaping up to be one of the most star-studded and tightly-guarded weddings of the year. The pair, who got engaged in December 2024, have turned to Hollywood’s go-to wedding planner, Mindy Weiss, to orchestrate their dream day. Weiss, the creative force behind countless Kardashian celebrations, is ensuring every detail remains under wraps.

The ceremony will take place on a sprawling private estate, completely transformed into a tented wonderland. Privacy is the top priority, with $300,000 reportedly dedicated to securing the grounds. Armed guards, blackout entrances, and round-the-clock patrols are in place to keep paparazzi drones at bay and give the 300-strong guest list peace of mind.

The secrecy is so intense that not even the caterers know the final location yet. Food will be prepared off-site and delivered last-minute, with all other vendors running on the same cloak-and-dagger schedule. The couple reportedly has spent over 5 million dollars on their nuptials.

Star-Studded Guests and VIP Stays

A wedding this lavish naturally draws a glittering guest list. Heiress Paris Hilton is expected, confirmed by her sister Nicky Hilton. Taylor Swift, Gomez’s longtime best friend, is planning to attend—though likely without Travis Kelce, who has a game in Kansas the next day.

Oscar-winner Meryl Streep was originally set to be there but has since told Gomez she won’t be able to make it. Meanwhile, those staying overnight will retreat to El Encanto, a luxury spa resort owned by Tinder co-founder Justin Mateen. Perched in the Santa Barbara hills, rooms start at $1,000 per night, but for this weekend, it’s entirely booked out.

The Entertainment: Snoop Dogg Takes the Stage

Guests won’t just witness a romantic union; they’ll be treated to an afterparty hosted by none other than Snoop Dogg. At 53, the rap legend still knows how to throw down, and this won’t be his first crossover with Blanco, having previously collaborated on the BTS track "Bad Decisions."

With Snoop as MC, the afterparty promises to be less buttoned-up, more unforgettable festival vibes.

Mindy Weiss: The Mastermind Behind the Curtain

Mindy Weiss, renowned for keeping celebrity secrets airtight, is the only person aside from Selena and Benny who knows the exact location. She’s handled everything from NDA sign-offs to the meticulous timing of deliveries. Her signature style is turning once-in-a-lifetime events into cultural moments.

Beyond the spectacle, Gomez and Blanco’s big day feels like a celebration of resilience. Both have weathered very public ups and downs, but together they’ve built something worth protecting, down to the last detail.

Congratulations, Selena and Benny!
