Lele Pons is overflowing with joy after welcoming her daughter earlier this year in July. Now, mother and father, she and her husband, Guaynaa's life has changed completely. For Pons, life has shifted not just at home, but within herself. In a recent interview, the 29-year-old opened up about what baby Eloise has already taught her.
Pons has shared sweet photos on Instagram to celebrate Eloisa’s milestones. During her stop at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, her first solo trip since giving birth, she reflected on how much she’s grown. “I’ve matured, I’m more patient,” she said, adding that motherhood has changed the way she sees her own mom. “In this stage, I’ve connected more with my mom; now I understand her more.”
Things are different now that she’s a mom, and she admitted she’s fully focused on her daughter - even putting her own needs second, the same way her mother, Ana Maronese, once did for her. “I worry a lot about having a daughter and wanting the best for her. Everything revolves around her now, not you. Every decision is based on her,” she told Entertainment Tonight.
The singer also shared a sweet anecdote about her baby. “Sometimes when I kiss her cheek and she’s hungry, she thinks it’s her bottle and looks for it,” she said with a laugh
While in Vegas, Pons also gushed about Guaynaa stepping into fatherhood for the first time. “Oh my God, he’s in love,” she said with a big smile. “She’s a daddy’s girl, and she stops crying when she’s with him. He’s so good at taking care of her, he knows exactly what to do and what she needs,” she added proudly.
Pons has been open on social media about how much his support has meant in her postpartum recovery, writing that she’s been “handling postpartum thanks to him.”
As she slowly eases back into work, she confessed that it’s bittersweet being away from her baby. “My heart is there with her, but my mind is here, focused on work. A part of me is always at home,” she explained.
Known for her funny videos, Pons has found ways to channel motherhood into her creativity. She recently shared a video about new mom life, showing herself with a breast pump, messy hair, and pajamas as Pons poked fun at the exhaustion of the so-called “fourth trimester.”
She added dark circles under her eyes to show the reality of sleepless nights with a newborn.
