Leonardo DiCaprio and girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti may have both attended the world premiere of his new comedy-adventure film, One Battle After Another. Still, the couple chose not to pose together on the red carpet at TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
The pair, who began dating in 2023 after meeting in Milan, Italy, continued their low-key approach on Monday night. Leonardo, 50, arrived solo in a fitted black suit and crisp white shirt.
Meanwhile, Vittoria Ceretti, 27, turned heads in a sleek white gown featuring side cut-outs and a daring thigh-high slit. She completed her look with black heels, a bejeweled serpent ear cuff, a silver bangle, and a white mini bag.
Earlier this summer, the couple was spotted together on a yacht near Formentera, Spain, on August 15, but their official red carpet debut remains elusive. Leonardo has not walked a red carpet with a girlfriend since 2005, when he attended the Academy Awards with Gisele Bündchen.
Vittoria has been candid about the challenges of dating someone in the public eye. Speaking to Vogue France in March, she explained, “As soon as you’re in a relationship with someone who has a larger following than you, you become ‘girlfriend of’ or ‘boyfriend of,’ for that matter. And that can be extremely annoying. Suddenly, people are talking about you as so-and-so’s girlfriend who was so-and-so’s ex. So it’s not nice to think that you can’t love whoever you want, because of the labels people need to stick on you.”
She added that navigating a relationship under the spotlight has been a learning process. “It’s something you learn. If what you’re experiencing is real, if you know you love each other, then there’s no reason to be alarmed. Because love protects and gives confidence.”
Reports have suggested that Leonardo is deeply invested in the relationship. In 2023, a source told Us Weekly, “They are in love. Leo was clearly very proud to be showing Vittoria off and letting everyone see how happy they are together.”
The insider continued, “It’s going so well that Leo’s actually being exclusive. Vittoria is all he thinks about...She’s not intimidated by his fame at all; she even makes fun of it, ‘the model and the movie star.’ Leo finds it refreshing.”it
