The powerful couple always dresses to impress

The 47-year-old human rights lawyer looked flawless in an 80s-inspired strapless fuchsia dress that was party in the front and glamorous in the back. The short bodycon dress had a stunning train that billowed down the carpet with her every step.

George, unfortunately, had to stop doing promotion for the highly anticipated film on Wednesday after he got an infection. A source confirmed the news, telling Page Six, “George has been diagnosed with a sinus infection and is under doctor’s orders to cut back all activities today."

George has been back to his red carpet commitments after starring in the Broadway run of Good Night, and Good Luck. It ran from March 12 to June 8, and he was performing on stage for 13 weeks. Finishing his play also meant he could go back to his salt and pepper hair after dyeing it brunette, which came with mixed reactions.

Jay Kelly: Netflix's film generating Oscars buzz

Directed by Noah Baumbach, the film has a star-studded cast including George, Adam Sandler, Laura Dern, Billy Crudup, Riley Keough, Grace Edwards, Stacy Keach, Jim Broadbent, Patrick Wilson, Eve Hewson, Greta Gerwig, and more.

George stars as a world-famous actor who sets off on a trip across Europe with his manager, Ron (Adam Sandler). Along the way, the two dig into their pasts: careers, relationships, and the choices that shaped them.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, George opened up about his journey starring in the film at his age. He said finding roles like this wasn't that common. “If you can’t make peace with aging, then you’ve got to get out of the business and just disappear," he explained. "I’m now the guy that, when I go running after a bad guy, it’s funny—it’s not suspenseful. That’s okay. I embrace all of that.”

The drama-comedy is one of Netflix's most anticipated movies and has a lot of Oscar buzz around it. Some are hoping it finally earns Sandler his first nomination after he was "snubbed" in 2019 with Uncut Gems.
