Billy Ray Cyrus is celebrating his 64th birthday today, and his girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley made sure he felt special. The actress took to Instagram on Monday to shower her “Squirrel Man" with love, giving fans a glimpse into their world with never-before-seen moments.
The Austin Powers star took to Instagram on Monday to share a gallery of photos and videos of the couple looking happy. The first photo was them holding each other close on what looked like a dance floor, another of them hanging out in Tennessee with Billy Ray, holding on to his guitar.
It also had Billy Ray rocking a couple of hairstyles, like two braids. They showed off their famous smiles in the selfie-style photos.
Perhaps the best hairstyle was Billy Ray wearing a classic Y2K braided tendril.
The last slide was a selfie-style video of them smiling and laughing while walking down the street.
The couple’s whirlwind romance has been moving fast ever since they hard-launched on Instagram this past Easter. Despite criticism online, with even some of Hurley’s famous friends, like Elton John, reportedly confused. Hurley looks happier than ever with her new countryman.
They made their red carpet debut in Rome in May at the Orizzonti | Rosso” exhibition. They've been loved up all year, with PDA moments. Billy Ray revealed earlier this year that Hurley is the one who made the first move.
At the Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s Hot Pink Party, she told Daily Mail she was “very happy” with the country crooner, adding, “Billy’s a lovely man and we make each other very happy.”
Billy Ray, who’s had a rollercoaster few years with divorce drama and awkward headlines, seems to be in a new chapter. It's something his daughter Miley Cyrus has noticed, too. The father-daughter duo recently reconnected after years of a strained relationship.
She told The New York Times in an interview published May 31, "I'm being an adult about it." "Now that my mom is so in love with my stepdad, who I completely adore, and now that my dad, I see him finding happiness, too—I can love them both as individuals instead of as a parental pairing," she explained.
Hurley has been involved with Miley's successes, too, and was all smiles when she attended a screening for her "Something Beautiful" pop opera in June.
Hurley's son Damian has also been in their corner since the beginning. He liked and commented on their Easter reveal and follows the Country singer, and is always leaving hearts in any related posts.
Damian lost his father, Steve Bing, in 2020, so having his support means a lot, and the feeling is mutual. “I do love him a lot,” Billy Ray said about Damian, adding, “It’s great that God brought them into my life when he did. It’s just a good thing. It’s been a long time since I’ve been this happy.”
