Katy Perry is enjoying her summer as a single woman. Ahead of her show in Tampa, Florida, the 40-year-old was spotted enjoying the waves in Miami, rocking a black and white bikini that showed off her toned figure.
The pop superstar was soaking up the Miami sunshine on August 21, hitting the beach with her crew. She was all smiles as she let loose, throwing up her hands in the air and sipping on a coconut.
Perry has been enjoying her time back in the States, but will be international again, heading to Chile and Brazil in September. She'll then take Great Britain and Europe before her tour ends in November in France.
Until then, she's been enjoying the East Coast. Last week, she was spotted in New York City. Photographers caught her leaving dinner at The Pool before heading to Broadway to see Oh, Mary!.
Katy and Orlando's life after the split
It's been all eyes on Perry since her split with fiancé Orlando Bloom. The "Firework" singer has been at the center of new dating rumors with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. The two were first seen walking together in Montreal before grabbing dinner and drinks.
A source later confirmed to Us Weekly that it was “definitely a date,” noting that the pair connected through mutual friends in the music world and had been talking for weeks. A few days later, Trudeau added fuel to the fire when he attended Perry’s sold-out Canadian concert with his teenage daughter, Ella-Grace.
“They are interested in each other, but it will take a while to see where this goes,” a Canadian source told People. “She is traveling around the world, and he is figuring out his life now that he is no longer the prime minister of Canada. But there is an attraction—they have a lot in common.”
Meanwhile, Bloom has also been hitting the town with a very cute soul. The Carnival Row actor was spotted leaving the San Vicente Bungalows in West Hollywood on the same day Perry was in New York with his partner in crime, his teacup poodle Biggie Smalls.
End of an era
After weeks of speculation, Perry and Bloom announced their split in early July with a joint statement saying they’d been “shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting.” Their daughter Daisy turns five on August 26.
