The former beauty queen, originally from Moscow, had her whole life ahead of her and big dreams to fulfill.

The beauty pageant world is mourning after Kseniya Alexandrova's death, Miss Universe Russia 2017. According to reports, the beauty queen died at age 30 following a car accident in July and had remained hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the Sklifosovsky Research Institute.

According to RG, the crash happened in the Tver region. Alexandrova was in the passenger seat while her husband was driving when their car collided with a moose that ran across the road. The impact was so severe that she suffered a traumatic brain injury.

The former beauty queen, originally from Moscow, had her whole life ahead of her and big dreams to fulfill. She had only married on March 22 of this year.

In 2018, she was romantically linked to Mexican actor Eduardo Verástegui. So far, the actor and political hopeful has not commented on her passing, though the two shared fond memories, including a trip to Moscow in 2018.

Alexandrova began her modeling career at 19 with the Modus Vivendis agency, which confirmed the sad news of her passing on social media. "With deep sorrow, we announce that our colleague and friend, model Kseniya Alexandrova, passed away last night," the statement read, describing her as "brilliant, talented, and extraordinarily radiant."

"She knew how to inspire, support, and bring warmth to those around her. For us, she will always be a symbol of beauty, kindness, and inner strength," the message continued.

Kseniya Alexandrova earned her degree in Finance from the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. In 2021, she completed her studies at Moscow Pedagogical University and worked as a psychologist.

Miss Universe Organization Pays Tribute

In a heartfelt message, Miss Universe bid farewell to the model who represented Russia in 2017.

The organization shared a touching tribute video honoring the late Kseniya through its Instagram profile. "The Miss Universe Organization expresses its deepest and most sincere condolences to the family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by the light of Miss Universe Russia 2017, Kseniya Alexandrova. Her grace, beauty, and spirit left an unforgettable mark on the Miss Universe family and beyond. May her memory continue to inspire kindness, strength, and love in all those fortunate enough to have known her."

Fans filled the comment session with farewell messages. "One of the most beautiful women I ever saw on stage," one person wrote. "Such as beautiful tribute, rest in peace," another added with a red heart emoji. "Rest in peace, beautiful soul," a third added.
