Cazzu’s name has been indirectly connected to Belinda’s over the last few years since they both had serious relationships with Christian Nodal. Although rumors of a possible love triangle have circulated, and they've shown support for each other in the past, they've never actually met. But they will soon meet face to face. During her visit to Mexico to promote her book Perreo: Una Revolución, the Argentine singer confirmed she will meet the "Lo Siento" singer.
Cazzu arrived at the Mexico City International Airport and was greeted by the press, who asked about the possibility of meeting Belinda. She surprised everyone with her response: “I’m going to meet her, I’ll have the luck to talk with her. She’s a pop icon and a musician who is going to go down in history, as you all know,” said the trap artist, according to the program Ventaneando.
Dating the same man can either tear women apart or bring them closer together, and it seems like the latter is happening. A few months ago, Belinda was asked about Cazzu’s success in Mexico, especially after the Argentine artist sold out her concerts at the Auditorio Nacional within hours. Belinda responded: “I love that she sold out her national auditoriums, that’s awesome. I feel very happy that Mexico receives her with so much love because she deserves it.”
Would they ever collaborate?
While they would no doubt go viral if they ever collaborated, in June, during another visit to Mexico, Cazzu said it's not in her plans. “I have a lot of respect for Mexican artists, but I don’t know many of them personally. I know Kenia (Os), and at some point, I exchanged messages with Danna, but I think these things happen naturally when you get to know people,” she explained.
“Kenia seems so lovely to me, and with her, I’ve been able to have a little more of a relationship, but I feel that with ‘Beli,’ people move things more morbidly. I wouldn’t like to feed into that. I think those connections have to come from the music; sometimes they happen, sometimes they don’t, and that’s okay,” she explained.
But now that they're going to be meeting in Mexico, it makes the possibility of a collaboration a little more possible. Meanwhile, Nodal and Angela Aguilar are still going strong, ignoring the haters.
