Arjona also took the chance to congratulate Momoa's most recent TV show, which he stars in and he also co-wrote. "AND… Happy Chief of War Day, too. Excited for the world to watch what you’ve poured your heart and soul into for the past years."
Momoa's birthday wishes for this year
Momoa shared a video on his own social media, thanking everyone for the birthday wishes. In the clip, he's seen shirtless and after a sparring lesson, with his coach helping him remove the wrappings from his hands.
"Hello everyone, for the birthday wishes, thank you very much. I'm officially 46. I'm an old man and it showed in this last round. I gave up. This guy kicked my ass," he said. Momoa had a simple birthday present from his followers, promoting his show "Chief of War," which he made with his "family."
"I'd really love it if you watched it."
"Chief of War" is available to stream on Apple TV+ and follows Momoa in the lead role as a warrior trying to unify the Polynesian islands in the 17th century, before Western colonization. Momoa is one of the series' co-creators and has even directed a few episodes of this series, representing just how important the show is to him.
