Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco may not have locked in a wedding date just yet, but Selena already knows one thing for sure, she wants “biscuits and gravy” served on her big day.
The 33-year-old singer and actress, who got engaged to the 37-year-old record producer in December 2024, shared the unconventional detail in a Rare Beauty TikTok video on July 26.
She said, “Whenever that day comes, I do know that I don’t want a big cake. I think I’d want a mini one for just us that we can freeze”
“My preferred dessert would be biscuits and gravy. My nana’s biscuits and gravy, that sounds like dessert to me."
Selena also revealed that she might be one of the earliest arrivals at the wedding.
“My papa would always tell me, ‘If you’re on time, you’re already late,’” she said. “That’s one of the reasons I get to places 30 minutes before I have to. That’s been instilled in me forever, but it also has a comfort about it because it is something that makes me feel like I’m ready and prepared. I’m not rushed to go right into something."

In addition to wedding chatter, Selena, who began dating Benny in 2023, reflected on an emotional moment during one of her concerts that she’ll always hold dear. “I was doing a concert and in the middle of ‘Who Says,’ most of the entire arena held up these signs all at the same time,” she said.
“And it was one of the most surreal moments because the fans did that. And I just lost it because that song means so much to me, and so much to a lot of people. That is and always will be one of my most cherished moments."
As for the guest list? Benny revealed in June that his longtime collaborator Ed Sheeran is a top priority. Speaking on the Australian TV show Today, Benny said, “I just told him, ‘I’m going to have a wedding and you’re going to come to the wedding.’
Eventually Ed will come to our wedding when we do have one, but unfortunately we have not scheduled one yet, but we will!"
Selena has also shared her hopes for the future beyond the wedding, including starting a family with Benny.
Speaking on a recent episode of the Jay Shetty podcast, she said, “I don’t know what will happen, obviously, but I love children. I have an 11-year-old sister that I absolutely adore. I love making [children] laugh; they’re just so sweet. So absolutely, when that day comes, I’m so excited for it.”
