David and Victoria Beckham escaped to the French Riviera for their annual summer getaway, this year aboard a lavish yacht, but the absence of their eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, was impossible to ignore.
The famous couple was spotted enjoying the Mediterranean sun alongside their younger children, Romeo and Harper, during a luxurious family day off the coast of Saint-Tropez.
While Victoria stunned in a satin yellow dress paired with a matching straw hat, David was seen embracing his 14-year-old daughter Harper as they boarded a speedboat to head to shore. Meanwhile, Romeo was seen jet skiing across the water.
But despite the serene moment, tension continues over the Beckham family. Brooklyn, 26, and his wife, Nicola Peltz, were miles away, sharing romantic photos from the UK instead of joining the rest of the family in France.
Victoria was seen in full fashion mode, relaxing in a blush pink co-ord while sipping a cold drink. The couple’s stylish escape was hosted aboard a yacht significantly more extravagant than the one Beckham purchased in 2022.
Brooklyn and Nicola's absence follows months of speculation over a feud, which came into sharp focus after Brooklyn skipped David's milestone 50th birthday celebrations in May.
The Beckhams’ glamorous holiday did little to mask the heartache. Sources claim that Brooklyn and Nicola didn’t visit Harper, or even reach out, when they were in London earlier this year, despite filming just over a mile from the family’s Holland Park home.
“David and Victoria had no idea whether Brooklyn, who Harper has idolised since she was a little girl, would message her privately or publicly,” a source shared with the Daily Mail.
While Brooklyn did eventually post a birthday tribute to Harper on Instagram, his post featured a photo excluding his younger brothers Romeo and Cruz.
While the Beckhams were cruising the Côte d'Azur, Brooklyn and Nicola celebrated her billionaire father Nelson Peltz's birthday, while she and Brooklyn remained notably silent on David and Victoria’s special days. “It’s not lost on the Beckhams that they skipped David’s 50th but made a big show for Nelson,” an insider added.
Romeo, however, appeared to send a subtle message on social media last week. “Appreciate the people that love you. Life’s too short not to.” The quote, which many interpreted as a direct nod to his brother, only added to speculation that the Beckham siblings are taking sides.
