Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper have kept their relationship relatively private, but they are making major moves behind the scenes. They first started dating in October 2023, and the Hangover star is reportedly thinking about making the next big step.
A source recently told Page Six that the 50-year-old is “considering marriage and kids with Gigi,” and he “might pop the question in the next couple of months.”
While they attend events together, most recently Paris Fashion Week, the couple has avoided red carpet debuts, and they like to lay low. “They are incredibly happy and are in their own bubble,” the insider continued.
Cooper doesn't have an Instagram, and Hadid just posted him for the first time in May 2025 for her birthday. The post came after the model opened up for the first time about him in her April Vogue cover story, calling the relationship “very romantic and happy.”
- While the 30-year-old admitted, “It’s just not part of our relationship to share for whatever reason,” she didn’t hold back on how supportive Cooper has been. “I feel that he gives so much to me: encouragement and, just, belief,” she said. “For those people who you admire to encourage you, it can create so much belief in yourself… You jump and leap.”
According to Gigi, they met at a backyard birthday party for a mutual friend’s child. She was already clear on what she wanted in a relationship. “And then to find someone that is in a place in their life where they know what they want and deserve… and you both do work separately to come together and be the best partner that you can be.”
Blended family goals
A big topic of discussion about Hadid and Cooper's relationship is the 20-year age gap. But a big thing they have in common is that they are both parents. Hadid shares 4-year-old Khai with ex Zayn Malik, and Cooper has 8-year-old Lea with model Irina Shayk.
Plus, it looks like Gigi already has Lea's approval. Earlier this year, in May, they were spotted alone on a girls' shopping trip. "Gigi treats Bradley’s daughter, Lea, as if she were her own," said a source to The Daily Mail. "Lea sees Gigi as a mother figure in return. Irina [Shayk] fully supports their close bond."
The kids are building their own relationship, too. A source told PEOPLE that the girls “spend time together,” adding, “It’s very sweet.”
Their tribe may expand too because the couple is reportedly interested in having more children. “They could picture a blended family with their daughters and their kids,” a source told Page Six. “They are busy with work, but also prioritize their relationship and daughters,” another insider shared.
It would be the second marriage for Cooper if they do walk down the aisle. The Wedding Crashers star was briefly married to actress Jennifer Esposito in December 2024, but she filed for divorce four months later, citing "irreconcilable differences.“ "Jennifer Esposito has filed for divorce. She asks that you respect her privacy at this time,” her rep said in a statement at the time. Cooper's attorney added in a separate statement that it was "mutual."
