Jessica Alba has stepped into a new chapter, and it looks like there’s someone new by her side. The 44-year-old actress is casually dating 'Top Gun: Maverick' and 'Captain America: Brave New World' actor Danny Ramirez, 32, after ending her 16-year marriage to producer Cash Warren.
The relationship is reportedly lighthearted and low-pressure. According to Us Weekly, “They were friends before it turned romantic,” with the pair becoming close thanks to their shared social circle, which includes Alba’s longtime friend, Eva Longoria. “Jessica is still keeping things casual,” the source noted.
Alba and Ramirez sparked dating rumors earlier this month when they were photographed returning to Los Angeles from a Cancún vacation, while wearing baseball caps and sunglasses, the two tried to keep a low profile.
The photos sparked speculation that was quickly confirmed by multiple insiders. “Jessica hasn’t been in the dating game for decades, so she is having fun with it right now,” one source told Us Weekly. Another added that although Ramirez is “enamored with her,” things aren’t serious yet. “She’s not in that frame of mind,” a source told the Daily Mail. “Right now, she’s looking to just have fun.”
While fans may be eager to see more of the couple, don’t expect Ramirez to be introduced to Alba’s three children, Honor, 17, Haven, 13, and Hayes, 7, anytime soon. “She isn’t interested in bringing Danny around the kids,” a source told Us Weekly, adding, “She is having a lot of fun in this new era.”
Alba’s ongoing divorce from Cash Warren has been described as amicable, yet emotional. “Being single has been up and down for Jessica,” a source told the Daily Mail. “She was family first and always thought when she got married that it was going to be forever. But divorce was the only option.”
The couple announced their split earlier this year after separating in December 2024. Both filed for divorce in February, citing irreconcilable differences and requesting joint custody.
