Khloé Kardashian is not on FaceTune anymore. In the latest episode of her podcast, "Khloé in Wonderland," released July 17, the 41-year-old reality star and Good American founder got radically real about something fans have long speculated about. While she's no stranger to being accused of digitally tweaking her looks, Khloé is now pulling back the curtain and confirming she used to do that, but not anymore.

"I don't [Photoshop now]," Khloé said bluntly on the pod. "But there was a time that I definitely did." She explained how she felt pressured to perfect every photo, not just by the culture, but by the people in her orbit. "I was around some people that would make me feel like I needed to," she said. "I also think it was the era, too. I felt like a lot of people were heavily Photoshopping more than they do now."

She's not wrong. The early 2010s were peak filter mania. Everyone wanted airbrushed skin, cartoon-level contours, and eyes the size of saucers. Khloé, like many women in the spotlight, felt the need to play along, especially when surrounded by a glam squad and a social media audience with sky-high expectations. But now she's tapped out of the Photoshop rat race.

"I Looked Like a Cartoon Character"

Khloé didn't hold back when reflecting on some of her old edited images. "I look like a cartoon character in some of my old photos," she confessed. "And it's humiliating that I thought that was even a version of myself."

She spoke candidly about how distorted her self-image had become. "I was so consumed in the filter world... but currently now, no," she said. "I really had to reprogram my mind to be like, okay, we have to lay off the filters. This isn't real. That's not how I look. And I don't want to look like that."

The New Rules

So, what does Khloé do to feel good in front of the camera now? She's all about good lighting and quantity over digital quality. "I'll take 500 photos to get the one I like," she admitted. "That's okay. I'm allowed to do that."

She also admitted she still has days when she wants to slap on a filter. "There's definitely days that I'm like, ugh, I need a filter. Don't feel good about myself. But I'm on video. And I do like myself better in video than stills."

She's Heard the Accusations. She's Over Them

Khloé's had her fair share of Photoshop police in her comments, especially over the years. From birthday tributes to mom Kris Jenner to random selfies, fans have often called her out for what they claim are "edited" pics.

It's clear that even before her latest podcast revelations, Khloé's been rethinking the "perfect image" game for a while. Khloé has also recently been more transparent about the actual cosmetic tweaks she's made over the years.

In June, she broke it all down for fans in a comment revealing she had one nose job, Botox, fillers, "collagen baby threads" under her chin, and a significant weight loss (80 lbs. over the years, to be exact).

With her confessions, people are wondering if we are moving away from the days of picture-perfect everything and into a more honest, less filtered future.

So if Khloé Kardashian — queen of curated content — can embrace her real face, maybe the rest of us can stop overthinking that next selfie, too.
