Jessica Alba may be keeping things light in the romance department these days, following her divorce from longtime partner Cash Warren, but one thing’s clear, she finds Orlando Bloom “charming.”
The fan-favorite actress, 44, is stepping back into the spotlight both personally and professionally after her divorce announcement earlier this year. And while she's not pursuing a serious relationship just yet, her chemistry with Bloom, her co-star in the upcoming thriller 'The Mark,' is sparking attention.
“She’s in a great place. She’s excited to get back to filming. She’s doing what she loves and keeping her circle tight,” a source told PEOPLE, adding that the two actors “have met in the past,” and that Alba considers Bloom “charming.”
Fans who are already commenting on their friendship think that the timing couldn’t be more aligned, as Bloom himself recently split from longtime partner Katy Perry. The two had been engaged since Valentine’s Day 2019, and their separation appears to be recent.
While her divorce from Warren isn’t finalized, Alba filed on February 7, 2025, citing irreconcilable differences. Their official date of separation was listed as December 27, 2024. The couple had been married since 2008 and share three children: Honor (16), Haven (13), and Hayes (7). Alba is seeking joint custody and a return to her legal name, Jessica Marie Alba.
"She’s been getting a lot of attention since the divorce. She’s flattered and definitely enjoying being single again. She’s gone on some dates, but it’s nothing serious — she’s focused on herself and her kids. She’s not interested in a relationship right now," a source shared with PEOPLE.
Among those recent outings was a trip to Cancun, where Alba was seen vacationing with a new companion, actor Danny Ramirez. The two were photographed arriving back in Los Angeles together, sparking speculation about a potential romance.
Ramirez, 32, is best known for his roles in 'Top Gun: Maverick', 'Captain America: Brave New World,' and 'The Last of Us.' He also attended the Culture Makers event hosted by Alba in Beverly Hills back in February, fueling further buzz about their connection.
Although no confirmation has been made about the nature of their relationship, sources say they spent time together in the Mexican resort town before boarding a flight back to L.A. on Sunday evening.
