Grigor Dimitrov had to drop out of Wimbledon due to a pectoral injury

This Monday, Dimitrov was playing against Jannik Sinner, leading the match two sets to love. After hitting a backhand volley, Dimitrov hurt his right pectoral, prompting an evaluation from Wimbledon's medical staff.

The staff determined that Dimitrov had to forfeit the match, thus leaving one of the most important tournaments of his career.

González shared a statement on Instagram, supporting her boyfriend wholeheartedly. "Love of my life. I couldn't be more proud of you. You are BEYOND outstanding," she wrote in her stories.

"This is just a moment that will pass and will make you even stronger. But watching you today alongside the world was a reminder of who YOU are. You're a winner. We all saw it. And you'll do it again. I love you."

She also shared a comment in a video shared by the Wimbledon tournament, showing Dimitrov and Skinner hugging as Dimitrov left the court with tears in his eyes.

"A WINNER," she wrote. "He will build an even better story. Stronger inside and out.
