Former NFL star Tim Tebow and his wife, former Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Tebow, welcomed their biggest blessing yet, a baby girl. The couple announced the arrival of their first child on Sunday, July 6, via a heartfelt Instagram post on Monday, July 7, sharing sweet hospital photos cradling their newborn.

The joint post from the Tebows radiated joy and gratitude. “Our daughter is here! We couldn’t be more grateful for the blessing and gift of this new little life,” the couple wrote.

They also gave a huge shoutout to the medical team who supported them through the birth. “We’re so grateful to the whole medical team that assisted us in the best way possible during my labor and delivery,” the post continued. “From our doctor to our nurses and all the hospital staff — we are so grateful and thankful for you.”

Another touching detail was their friend Hannah Janoe, a photographer and close confidant, who was there to capture the emotional first moments with their daughter. “Thank you to everyone who’s been praying with us over her arrival,” the couple wrote. “We are so incredibly thankful for all of the love and support we’ve felt.”

Although they haven’t revealed her name just yet, Tim and Demi-Leigh added, “We can’t wait to share her name soon.”

From Touchdowns to Tiaras

This newest chapter in the Tebows’ love story was first teased back in March when they announced they were expecting a girl. Their gender reveal was an emotional art project. In a black-and-white video, the couple blindfolded themselves, dipped paintbrushes into pink paint, and filled a canvas. The second they removed their blindfolds, the video switched to color, revealing a canvas awash in pink, confirming Baby Tebow was a girl.

“Baby Tebow is a…GIRL! Our greatest blessing. We’ve been praying for her long before we knew her, and we’re beyond grateful that God chose us to be her parents.”

As part of the painting, they added Bible verses to the canvas, one selected for a boy, one for a girl, making it a keepsake for the nursery. “Now, let’s get this nursery in order! Bring on the pink bows, ruffles, and all things sweet,” they wrote at the time.

A Love Story Grounded in Faith

Tim and Demi-Leigh first met in 2018 and tied the knot in a stunning South African ceremony in January 2020. Over the past five years, they’ve built a bond rooted in friendship, faith, and a shared passion for helping others.

In an earlier interview with PEOPLE, the couple opened up about their excitement ahead of becoming parents. “We are just so excited and so over the moon to be having a baby together,” Demi-Leigh said. Tim added, “I’m honored for the privilege of getting the responsibility and the joy of being mom and dad.”

Their shared values and commitment to intentional living have been a cornerstone of their relationship, and now they’re bringing that same heart into parenting. “I’m so grateful because I just couldn’t imagine a better life partner to do life with first and foremost,” Demi-Leigh shared. “To be able to raise a little tiny human being together… I’m so grateful that Tim is my husband... that we get to do parenting together.”

With their baby girl now in their arms, it’s clear that Tim and Demi-Leigh are ready to embrace every moment of this new season. From early morning feedings to first smiles and tiny milestones, the couple is gearing up for the most rewarding chapter of their lives yet.
