The 'Modern Family' star, who turns 53 on July 10, kicked off the festivities in true star fashion, joining an A-list getaway through the Mediterranean aboard The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection’s ultra-luxury vessel, Luminara. And yes, it was as star-studded as it sounds.
Setting sail from Monte Carlo with stops in Cannes, Calvi, Portofino, and beyond, the celebration was joined by a jaw-dropping guest list that included Ricky Martin, Naomi Campbell, Anitta, Sting, Alicia Silverstone, and J Balvin.
Balvin shared photos and behind-the-scenes videos of their fun time together panning the camera to none other than Ricky Martin, who was having a conversation with the group. The stars could be seen laughing and having the best time.
The over-the-top celebration featured not one, but two surprise performances, Sting serenaded the group with his classic 'Every Breath You Take,' while J Balvin got the crowd dancing with his biggest hits under the Mediterranean sky.
Fans also went crazy for Anitta’s first public appearance since being hospitalized with a bacterial infection, and her visibly refreshed face sparked speculation online about possible treatments. She didn’t address the rumors, but she did look fabulous next to Sofía.
The pair proved they are very good friends and posed for photos, with the Colombian icon wearing a body-hugging printed dress. Ricky Martin, meanwhile, made headlines of his own after being spotted cradling Sofia on his lap in a cheeky group photo, and later surprising both her and Balvin aboard the yacht.
