Rumors of romance began over the weekend, with various news outlets commenting on it after Raducanu was spotted watching one of Alcaraz's matches and training sessions.

The pair has both addressed their relationship in different interviews, praising each other's tennis skills. "She plays great,” said Alcaraz to Hypebeast.

“She’s struggling a little bit lately, but I’m pretty sure that she’s gonna get there. I have a lot of confidence in her. Her game is pretty high. I trust that she’s gonna be on the top very soon."

Raducanu and Alcaraz's relationship dates back a long time

Even though the internet is very excited about them, Raducanu and Alcaraz have developed a friendship over the years, with the two knowing each other and being friends long before they became prominent figures in the public eye.

In an interview with the BBC, Raducanu explained that her relationship with Alcaraz goes "back a long way."

“We got to know each other better that year," she said of 2021. "I made it through to the next round at Wimbledon, and he did as well. He won in five sets in the first round and then lit up the US Open. I remember he always played the day before me, and I liked following his matches.”
