Trinity Rodman has her loved ones celebrating her every step. Last week, Rodman was nominated for the 2025 ESPYs, one of the biggest awards for athletes worldwide. To commemorate the occasion, her boyfriend Ben Shelton shared a sweet reaction on Instagram.
Shelton celebrated Rodman's nomination on his Instagram stories, sharing a photo of the news while adding a starstruck emoji.
Rodman was nominated for Best Play for her goal against Japan at the 2024 Paris Olympics, which quickly became one of the most discussed moments of the historic occasion.
Her goal came in the 106th minute and resulted in the US winning the match 1 - 0, winning a spot at the Olympics' semi-finals. The win paved the way for the team's gold medal.
The goal made Rodman the youngest American to score in an Olympic knockout match in 20 years. In an interview, Rodman opened up about how surreal the moment was. "I kind of blacked out," she said, per ESPN. "The last thing I remember is Crystal playing it and then I was like: 'Ahhh!'"
"That's the best moment of my career. I couldn't have asked for anything better."

Shelton and Rodman confirmed their relationship earlier this year, and have shared a few updates with their followers over the past months.

In May, Shelton celebrated Rodman's birthday with a sweet post, sharing a photo of the two kissing and another where Rodman is smiling brightly for the camera. "Happy birthday beautiful girl," he wrote. "I love you."
