Michelle Obama is enjoying her European getaway with her family. The former First Lady has been soaking up the Mediterranean sun with daughters Malia and Sasha on the Spanish island of Mallorca.
Michelle, 61, was spotted dining at the exclusive Lobster Club in Puerto Portals, joined by longtime friends James Costos, former U.S. ambassador to Spain, and his partner, interior designer Michael Smith. The lunch was set on a breezy outdoor terrace with sea views, live music, and a small crowd.
Michelle kept it low-key in oversized sunglasses and a flowing multicolored dress, while her daughters leaned into summer chic. Malia, 26, sported a black polka dot halter crop top with a mini skirt, showing off her toned abs.
Meanwhile, Sasha, 24, wore an off-the-shoulder white tee paired with a pleated brown skirt. Former President Barack Obama was notably absent from the outing, but it was reported that he is staying nearby at the luxurious X’arbet Ranch, owned by Costos and Smith.
Michelle, who has been photographed on the island nearly every summer in recent years, has often described Mallorca as a beloved escape. She’s known to frequent local spots like Ca Na Toneta and Bens d'Avall, preferring artisanal markets and quiet dining over big public appearances.
While Sasha and Malia have been carving their own path in Los Angeles. The pair enjoys spending quality time with their parents, as they have been seen going on multiple family outings, including earlier in the year when Barack was in LA photographed having dinner with his two daughters.
Michelle's latest outing with Sasha and Malia without Barack comes after ongoing divorce rumors. Michelle addressed the speculation directly during a May episode of 'The Diary of a CEO' podcast. “If I were having problems with my husband, everybody would know about it,” she said, adding that Barack has been a “tremendous father” who always left presidential duties at the door to be present for their daughters.
