Although their marriage ended two years ago, Ricky and Jwan get along well and co-parent smoothly for their kids. That’s why Jwan included the Puerto Rican singer in his Father’s Day tribute. Ricky is also the father of twins Valentino and Matteo, whom he had before his relationship with Jwan.
On his Instagram feed, the Syrian-born artist shared a carousel of photos with his kids, and in the final pic, Martin made an appearance. It looks like Jwan and the singer spent the day together with their little ones, having fun in the pool and enjoying the warm weather at one of their homes in Los Angeles. That same photo also showed up in Jwan’s stories with the caption "Happy Father’s Day."

Martin and Yosef welcomed Lucía on December 24, 2018, via surrogacy. She quickly became the princess of the house, charming everyone with her sweetness and beautiful blue eyes.
Ten months later, Ricky and Jwan shared the happy news that they had become parents again. The singer and the visual artist announced the arrival of Renn, who was born on October 29, 2019. That means he will be turning six this year, while his sister Lucía, who shares a birthday with Ricky Martin, will be celebrating her seventh.
A healthy relationship for their children
Weeks after announcing their divorce in the summer of 2023, Ricky Martin gave an interview to Telemundo where he opened up about how his split from Jwan Yosef unfolded. He clarified that the breakup wasn’t sudden, but rather something they had been preparing for with care.
"Jwan and I will always be family," Ricky said. "We have two kids we’re going to raise together, and this isn’t new. We’ve been planning this for a long time, even before the pandemic," he explained.
“We looked each other in the eyes, smiled, hugged, and talked through the good times and the bad. We cried together, but we also laughed,” Ricky said, recalling the moment they decided to end their relationship. “But now, we’re better than ever,” added the Livin’ la Vida Loca singer, who says he has a wonderful friendship with his ex.
