On Father’s Day, Jessica Alba publicly showed her appreciation for her estranged husband, Cash Warren, despite their ongoing divorce proceedings. The actress, 44, proved that they remain amicable while still going through their divorce, which was announced earlier this year.
The star took to social media to share a heartfelt tribute to Warren, 46, who she separated from in January and officially filed for divorce in February. Over a nostalgic photo from 2017 showing Warren holding their youngest son, Hayes, now 7, Jessica shared her thoughts.
“Happy Father’s Day, @Cash_Warren. Our babies couldn’t have a better dad — warm, kind, present, always knowing what to say. I admire your patience and the way you hold space for them, making them feel safe and light after every conversation. Thank you for being their rock," she wrote.
Jessica and Cash share three children together, daughters Honor, 17, and Haven, 13, alongside their youngest son Hayes. This touching message comes after Jessica announced their split earlier this year. In January, she posted on Instagram about their separation.
“I’ve been on a journey of self-realization and transformation for years," she shared at the time. "I’m proud of how we’ve grown in our marriage over the last 20 years and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.”
She added, “We are moving forward with love, kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family. Our children remain our highest priority and we request privacy at this time.”
In addition to honoring Cash, Jessica also celebrated her own father, Mark Alba, in a series of Instagram Stories. Sharing a photo of her father holding her as a baby, she wrote: “Your constant support through every chapter has meant everything to me. From the very start, you and mom were the ones who truly encouraged me to be independent — and that gift has shaped so much of who I am. I’m forever grateful.”
Jessica’s tribute continued with a loving shout-out to Mark’s role as a grandfather: “I love you so much, and I love watching you be the most fun, silly and joyful papa to Honor, Haven, Hayesie, Carter and Brooklynn.” Jessica also honored her father-in-law, Michael Warren, acknowledging his influence as a father and grandfather.
