Nadia Ferreira is in full fútbol mom mode, and it's adorable. Just two days before her little Marquito turns two, the model and former Miss Universe runner-up shared the sweetest snaps of her son dressed as a proud little supporter of La Albirroja, Paraguay’s national soccer team.
Ferreira shared a carousel of photos on Instagram, beaming with pride as both she and her son, whom she shares with Marc Anthony, wore matching jerseys. “With my little @albirroja fan," she captioned the gallery in Spanish. "Today we all play!"
Even though Paraguay ended up losing 1–0 to Brazil in the World Cup qualifiers, Nadia and Marquito easily won over the internet, and the moment was full of national pride.
Marquito rocked the coveted number 10 jersey belonging to player Miguel Almirón, and looked like he was born ready to cheer from the stands - or his mom’s lap. A mini fashionista, he paired his jersey with red shorts and blue sneakers, sticking to the team’s color scheme like a true fan. Nadia, of course, elevated her own look with signature glam: a diamond bracelet and necklace that added a twist to the sporty jersey.
To make the moment even more special, the Ferreira-Anthony household threw a little viewing party, grilling out in the backyard with family and friends while cheering on Paraguay. They even set the table with team flags, because if you’re going to celebrate your home team, you might as well go all in.
After the game, on Monday, Ferreria supported Anthony, who was chosen as Miami's ambassador to the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Miami will be one of the 16 host cities, and the Paraguayan model is hopeful that her country can secure its classification.
A huge milestone
The family will keep the party going because there's even more reason to celebrate this week: Marquito’s second birthday is this Thursday, June 12.
The couple first announced his birth on Father’s Day in 2023 with a touching photo of Marc holding Nadia’s hand alongside their newborn. “God’s timing is perfect,” he wrote at the time.
Since then, Nadia and Marc have kept most of Marquito’s life out of the spotlight, only sharing glimpses here and there. They've only shared a photo of his face in May 2024, revealing that he inherited his mom’s stunning blue eyes.
