Leonardo DiCaprio has attended his first-ever Met Gala. While he skipped the event's iconic blue carpet, he was spotted inside the Met Museum, alongside his girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti.
Photographers at the Met Gala captured DiCaprio inside the museum, dressed accordingly for the event, which had a dress code called "Tailored for You. DiCaprio wore a black tuxedo.
Ceretti wore a Moncler pinstripe mini, which she rounded out with some heels and jewelry.
The occasion marks one of the most public and notorious outings by the couple, who normally prefer to keep their relationship away from the public eye. The photos were shared on Vogue Magazine.
More details about DiCaprio and Ceretti's relationship
DiCaprio and Ceretti rarely discuss their relationship with the public. Earlier this year, Ceretti was featured on the cover of Vogue France, where she addressed her relationship with DiCaprio, even if she didn't mention him by name.
"As soon as you're in a relationship with someone who has a larger following than you, you become 'girlfriend of'—or 'boyfriend of,' for that matter. And that can be extremely annoying," said Ceretti. "Suddenly, people are talking about you as so-and-so's girlfriend who was so-and-so's ex."
Ceretti was also asked about the pressures of dating someone so famous, and revealed that she was learning how to deal with it. "It's something you learn. If what you're experiencing is real, if you know you love each other, then there's no reason to be alarmed," she said.
"Because love protects and gives confidence."
DiCaprio and Ceretti were first linked romantically in 2023, when they were photographed in Santa Barbara grabbing iced coffee and ice cream. Since the pair have been photographed in various locations and dates, including a hangout with DiCaprio's mom, Irmelin Indenbirken, at a museum in Milan.
