Brooklyn Beckham appears to be involved in some family drama, which has kept him from celebrating some of the year's biggest moments alongside his parents and siblings. His ex, Lexi Wood, has recently discussed Brooklyn's dynamic with his family.
In an appearance on "The Viall Files" podcast, Wood discussed her friendships with the Beckhams and the Gerber family.
“It’s so funny because those are the types of families that I’m used to,” said Wood, who dated Brooklyn and Presley Gerber at different points in her life.
“Like, families that are in the industry that give each other advice, work with each other where they can, like, that are so close, travel together, live together. They do so much together," she continued, revealing that those families always have their kids' backs.
Lexi shared that the Beckhams are a very cool family and that she has a special respect for Victoria. “They’re a beautiful family,” she said. “Victoria, she’s the style icon. They’re the coolest family.”
What's going on with Brooklyn and his family?
Over the past year, Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz have skipped out on some of the major celebrations involving his family, including David Beckham's 50th birthday party, where he hosted two celebrations in Miami and London.
“David and Victoria are over it,” said a source to US Weekly. “They’ve thrown in the towel over the whole thing.”
When it comes to the root of the family problem, there are various reports. One claims that Brooklyn and his brother Romeo aren't on speaking terms due to Romeo's new girlfriend, Kim Turnbull.
A separate report claims the issue stems from Nicola. "This has nothing to do with Kim and is all about Nicola. All David and Victoria want is their son back – and they will be there to welcome him any time," said a source to The Daily Mail.
