Kim Kardashian’s eldest child, North West, has officially surpassed her famous mom in height. The mom-daughter duo, who are known for their close relationship, enjoyed a fun outing in Los Angeles, with fans of the famous family sharing their surprise when photos of their outing revealed that North is now taller than her mom.
Kim, who is about 5-foot-2, was photographed exiting the PureLux Scalp Spa in LA with her daughter. The pair wore matching outfits, stepping out in white-and-pink pajama looks, making it a wholesome moment.
Kim and North wore coordinated looks, with the SKIMS owner accessorizing with a black trench coat, silver purse, and black sunglasses, opting for a minimalist look with no jewelry.
Meanwhile, North added a bit of sparkle to her outfit with layered necklaces and stud earrings. As part of her break from her busy schedule, the reality star treated herself and her daughter to a relaxing scalp massage.
While the pair appeared relaxed, the outing came just as Kim is dealing with some personal turmoil, particularly involving her ex-husband, Kanye West.
A source close to Kim told Page Six that “Kanye can see the kids anytime he wants; there are no limitations, but Kim is very careful also to not put them in situations that are chaotic. Protecting her kids [comes] first and foremost.”
Kim's focus remains on her children amid her busy career and controversial headlines. "Ultimately, what matters is that kids feel loved and heard," she said to GQ earlier this year, sharing a glimpse at her relationship with North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
"Just because I know how to manage my stress well doesn't mean that I don't feel the emotions. If I'm sad, of course, I will cry and feel it," she said about recent struggles. The star talked about North's opinion on her divorce from Kanye in 2022 during an episode of Hulu's 'The Kardashians.'
"It was a year of being mad at me," she said to Kourtney Kardashian while discussing her relationship with North. "Well, also, you guys were getting a divorce," Kourtney said, and Kim agreed. "I think it was all the divorce. It's insane the turnaround," she said.
