Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are continuing to prove they’re one of Hollywood’s cutest couples. The hitmaker loves sharing their adventures on social media, and on Thursday, they posted one of the most adorable moments yet. He revealed that his bride-to-be had never been to prom before—since she’s been a child star all her life, from Barney to Disney—so he decided to plan an epic day just for her and set up a photo shoot at the mall.
Blanco rented a limo, and Gomez had a glam team get her all dolled up for their prom-themed shoot. The couple looked so happy riding around town, with Blanco even shouting out the window to a passerby, “We’re going to prom!” The photos came out super cute, showing them posing in full prom looks.
The 32-year-old wore a perfect purple dress, tights, and some killer leather boots, while Blanco rocked a classic black tuxedo with sleek leather penny loafers. Together, they looked like the ultimate prom king and queen.
In the comments, fans were swooning over their relationship, putting Blanco at the top of the boyfriend pedestal. “Benny is the definition of ‘if he wanted to, he would!’” one of the top comments read. No rush for the wedding
Blanco and Gomez have fans obsessed with both their personal and professional lives. After dropping their joint album and visuals for I Said I Love You First, there's no denying they're a power couple.
There’s also been a lot of buzz about their wedding, though it doesn’t sound like we’ll see them walking down the aisle anytime soon. The pair explained last month on the Today show that they haven’t started planning and don’t have a date in mind.
Gomez said she's currently filming season 5 of Only Murders in the Building and added, “He has to do some work stuff, too.” For now, they’re just enjoying being engaged. “To be honest, I’m just enjoying us in this moment, and yeah, then we’ll get to start the craziness,” she said.
Blanco echoed her sentiment: “Oh my God, we haven’t even had time to enjoy [the engagement]. Are you kidding me? We go from this, she’s shooting Only Murders, we’re promoting the album, she was at the Oscars. It’s crazy.”
The only thing Blanco does know for sure? He wants pickles at their wedding. As for Gomez, she wants her Only Murders in the Building co-star Martin Short to give a speech. “I told him he must... I feel like Marty would have an epic speech,” she said on The Drew Barrymore Show.
