Shakira has been blessing fans with her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, delivering showstopping performances and incredible guests. With her North American tour scheduled from May 13 to June 30, one of the Colombian superstar’s first stops will be in Chicago for the Sueños music festival.

She’ll take the stage on Saturday night, May 25, at Chicago’s Grant Park—and her set will make history. The “Hips Don’t Lie” singer is set to deliver the longest performance in the festival’s four-year run, with festivalgoers getting to experience two full hours of her talent.

There will be a special stage design with full tour production, and if fans are lucky, she might even bring out someone special.

The two-day Latin music celebration is stacked with powerhouses. Peso Pluma will also perform on Saturday, and Don Omar is set to headline Sunday. Grupo Frontera will also deliver a special set, with Arcángel, El Alfa, Maria Becerra, Wisin, and Jhayco among the other incredible artists hitting the stage.

Shakira’s world tour

Shakira has been having the time of her life on tour, with special guests like Maluma, Carlos Vives, and soon, Pitbull. She announced on Instagram this week that she and Mr. Worldwide will hit the stage together at her MetLife Stadium show in New York on May 16.

She’s been noticeably grateful, often shouting out her guests and sharing stories about what it means to have them join her on stage, like her heartfelt message to Maluma.

On Tuesday, she also dedicated a gallery to Jawara Alleyne, a London-based fashion designer and artist from Jamaica and the Cayman Islands.

Alleyne created the bright and colorful outfit for her “Waka Waka” performance, taking into account the song’s message of unity, African culture, and all the dancing it required. He also designed matching looks for her dancers, with Shakira calling it a “true honor.”
