Christian Nodal is sharing if he wants to have kids with Ángela Aguilar. The singer has been asked about the possibility of welcoming children with his wife. A couple of weeks ago, Nodal said that he and Aguilar were still young and that kids were not on their minds. It's a comment that struck the media, considering that he shares a child with his former partner, Cazzu. In a new interview, Nodal spoke again on the matter, providing further clarification.
According to the Mexican publication "El Universal," Nodal is not planning on welcoming children any time soon. "No," he said.
"I think in the future, yes. For now, Ángela is still young. We're enjoying being in love and I think having kids will happen, but we want to enjoy ourselves and our lives better and get to know each other more. When she's ready, I'm ready."
Aguilar is five years younger than Nodal, with the pair being 21 and 26 years old, respectively.
Nodal's fatherhood journey
And while Nodal and Aguilar are taking their time to have kids, he welcomed his first child in 2023, with his former partner Cazzu. The two share a daughter named Inti.
In many interviews, he's shared his feelings as a father, revealing how important Inti is to his life and how much she's changed it. “It’s like your life is a movie where you’ve always seen yourself as the main character. But then you realize that you’ve actually been a supporting role all along. Now, the true star has arrived,” he said in an interview with Billboard in 2024.
Around that time, he discussed his daughter's birth and the fact that it was a challenging pregnancy for Cazzu. “Her birth was very traumatic; it wasn’t pretty," he said on the Mexican program "Noche de Luz." He shared that their birth plan changed within minutes.
