Emily Ratajkowski can literally rock anything, including a bad haircut. But that doesn’t mean she’s not going to be upset about it. The 33-year-old model took to TikTok on Tuesday to vent about her choppy hair. "Yes, I have a filter on because I have the worst haircut of my life, and I need to feel pretty," she said at the start.
After showing off the jagged look, she quipped, "Oh, you thought I was, like, gonna be funny? Like, I have bangs on the back of my head." "Is it giving? Like, member of the dare, like, or is it giving? Karen O. Is it giving?" she asked.
She said the person who did it was a "very nice man" before brainstorming what he could have been going for. "I think he was, like, going, British shag, British Shaggy."
There were some hilarious responses in the comments, like Julia Fox, who wrote, "No cuz I’m so mad for u rn."
"Ok, my bf can follow you now," "It’s giving rAwR xD," and, "I think he was jealous of u bc why is it like that?" were among some of the funniest replies.
Another blamed it on the stars: "Queen, we aren’t supposed to get haircuts during Venus retrograde," they wrote, to which Emrata responded, "I believe in astrology now."
Someone asked what inspiration photo she used, and she explained they had actually worked together in the past. "Myself, literally myself. He said, ‘Let’s bring back the bang you had last time we worked together.’ It wasn’t this. No, it was not," she replied.
On Tuesday, she shared a follow-up video, with the haircut in curls, along with a hilarious Fleabag voiceover. "The way I might actually lose my job," the model wrote in the comments.
The hair undoubtedly looks better curled, with Dylan Mulvaney writing, "It’s growing on me, I think." She had hundreds of others confirming that it looks way better curled.
We will have to wait and see if Emrata gets another haircut to try and fix what's been done or if she's going to let the bangs grow out.
