The fantastic actress from "Stranger Things" and "Enola Holmes," whom we all know as Millie Bobby Brown, revealed that her name isn't exactly what we thought.

During a recent chat with fellow actor Chris Pratt, Millie spilled the beans about her real middle name during their BuzzFeed UK interview. Turns out, it's Bonnie, not Bobby. Yep, her full name is Millie Bonnie Brown. She confessed that she swapped 'Bonnie' for 'Bobby' just "for s---s and giggles." Imagine Chris Pratt's surprise! According to People, he even joked about her crafting a stage name, to which Millie laughed and agreed.

A Nod to Dad?

While Millie mentioned the change was all in good fun, some fans think there's more to it. The name 'Bobby' might be a sweet tribute to her dad, Robert Brown.

But wait, there's more! After tying the knot with Jake Bongiovi in May 2024, Millie hinted at another name update. She shared a behind-the-scenes snap from "Stranger Things" Season 5, featuring a blackboard labeled "Millie Bobby Brown Bongiovi."

The Meaning of the Name Bonnie

According to The Bump, the name Bonnie originates from the Scots word "bonnie," which means handsome, pretty, or attractive. It is also derived from the French word "bonne," which means good. This, in turn, comes from the Latin word "bonus," which also means good. Additionally, Bonnie can be used as a pet form of the name Bonita.

Millie Bobby Brown's name story follows her disapproval of the relentless commentary about her looks.

Millie has been in the news over the past few days for calling out some media outlets regarding their obsession with her appearance. The star of "Electric State" released a powerful video on Monday, March 2, addressing the profound impact these comments can have on young women in the spotlight.

She was candid in expressing her frustration about how some people refuse to acknowledge that she has matured and changed. Additionally, she addressed specific media outlets for speculating that she had undergone cosmetic procedures during this awards season.

Millie's post was mainly sparked by comedian Matt Lucas, who compared her to his character Vicky Pollard after she attended the premiere of "The Electric State" in Los Angeles.

After receiving backlash, Lucas tried to clarify his intentions, stating he never intended to offend Millie.

As social media continues to be a battleground for celebrity criticism, Millie wonders whether women's support for each other truly makes a difference. "This isn't journalism. This is bullying," Millie said in a video. The fact that adult writers are spending their time dissecting my face, my body, my choices, it's disturbing."

Millie plays Sherlock Holmes' younger sister in the movie Enola Holmes, which is based on The Enola Holmes Mysteries book series by Nancy Springer.

"We always talk about supporting and uplifting young women, but when the time comes, it seems easier to tear them down for clicks. Disillusioned people can't handle seeing a girl become a woman on her terms, not theirs."

"I grew up in front of the world, and for some reason, people can't seem to grow with me," she continued. "Instead, they act like I'm supposed to stay frozen in time, like I should still look the way I did on Stranger Things season one. And because I don't, I'm now a target."

"I refuse to make myself smaller to fit the unrealistic expectations of people who can't handle seeing a girl become a woman," Millie said. "I will not be shamed for how I look, how I dress, or how I present myself."
