For Nadia Ferreira, this edition of Premio Lo Nuestro was particularly special. Not only did she grace the magenta carpet, but she also played a major role as one of the presenters on Noche de Estrellas, the lead-up to the ceremony.
The Paraguayan model interviewed top personalities like La India and Prince Royce, but none were as special as her husband, Marc Anthony. In a fun moment during their interview, Marc, clearly moved by how beautiful and professional Nadia looked holding the microphone, couldn't resist hugging her. The couple even shared a kiss live on air!
For her debut as a presenter, Nadia wore a stunning dress adorned with golden sparkles and an elegant cape, giving her a sophisticated look. As a true professional, Nadia began the interview by addressing her husband by name, which took Marc by surprise. "Did you just call me Marc, instead of 'daddy'?" he laughed.
"It’s the first time she’s called me Marc!" he added, a bit incredulous. Nadia cheekily replied, "I’m working, behave." After some playful banter, Marc answered Nadia’s question about his performance of "Volver" at the Kaseya Center during the awards ceremony.
"Tonight, we’re celebrating music. It’s true that all the artists have worked hard this year to be recognized tonight and to be part of the show," he said.
As they shared the moment, Nadia complimented him, saying, "You look so handsome!" At that point, some production staff yelled "Kiss, kiss!" urging the couple to kiss on live television. With a shy smile, Nadia asked, "Is this possible?" Sparks flew as they kissed.
After this romantic moment, Nadia continued her duties as a presenter. "I just want to mention that Marc is the male artist with the most awards in the history of Premio Lo Nuestro. He even set a Guinness World Record. What does that mean to you, my love?" she asked.
Marc responded with a playful joke, which Nadia praised with a smile. "You can’t imagine my husband’s sense of humor—it’s the best!" he said. Marc shared his thoughts: "It’s an immense honor to be here after so many years. I was there at the first one, even when it was just an idea.
Being here with my colleagues, still in the game as they say in Puerto Rico, is truly an honor. And to see you looking beautiful, beautiful Marquitos will be waiting for you at home..."
Nadia added, "Yes, I’m sure you’ll do amazing, as always. But behave yourself—I’m watching you!"
