Pamela Anderson rewrites her beauty story with a fearless twist. The "Baywatch" icon swapped her signature blonde waves for a fiery copper mullet, confirmed by her stylist John Nollet Paris on Instagram Stories Tuesday, Sept. 30. Nollet, who took full credit as the visionary behind the look, described the transformation as the beginning of a fresh chapter for the actress.

Anderson debuted the bold cut-and-color combo at Paris Fashion Week, where the copper hue caught the lights in all the right ways. She paired the edgy hairstyle with a flowing ivory dress that perfectly contrasted the sharpness of the mullet, creating a striking balance of elegance and rebellion.

Photographer Marco Bahler captured the moment, solidifying this look as one of Anderson’s most daring reinventions yet.

A New Era, A New Role

While fans are left wondering exactly which project called for such a dramatic transformation, there’s no denying that Anderson’s career is entering an exciting phase. Deadline and Variety both report that the actress, who recently starred in "The Last Showgirl," will appear in the upcoming comedy "Love Is Not the Answer." The film is set to mark Michael Cera’s directorial debut and features a cast that includes Fred Hechinger and Jamie Dornan.

For Pamela Anderson, reinvention is practically second nature.

Though the film’s storyline remains under wraps, Anderson’s willingness to fully commit to a look for a role signals her dedication to continuing as a bold force in Hollywood. Her copper mullet feels less like a fleeting red-carpet experiment and more like an intentional statement of range, both on screen and off.

Reinvention Is Nothing New

For Pamela Anderson, reinvention is practically second nature. Earlier this year, she shocked fans at the 2025 Met Gala with a cropped bob and baby bangs, an entirely different vibe from her new Paris Fashion Week persona.

At the May 5 event, Anderson stunned in a pale ice-blue Tory Burch silk gown, topped with Pandora diamonds and, most strikingly, no makeup. She arrived arm-in-arm with her son, Brandon Thomas Lee, and effortlessly commanded attention with her natural beauty and fearless style.

That look alone was a headline-grabber, but her latest copper mullet proves that Anderson refuses to be confined by expectations.

Pamela Anderson defends her drastic hair transformation

During a new interview with Who What Wear, the 57-year-old actress, starring in a new movie with Liam Neeson, explained the intention behind her Met Gala look. “For the Met, I wanted something strong, brave, and committed—aligned with the night’s theme of tailoring from head to toe,” Pamela said. The theme of the evening, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” inspired her to channel what she described as a “feminine warrior.”

After the mixed reactions, Pamela said she wasn't looking to meet conventional beauty standards. “It wasn’t about looking ‘good,’” she stated. “That’s subjective anyway.” While her hairstyle shocked many, it wasn’t a spontaneous decision.
