Megan Fox is no stranger to edgy beauty statements, but her latest manicure takes things to a provocative new level. The 39-year-old actress teamed up once again with celebrity nail artist Brittney Boyce, better known as Nails of L.A. for a studded nail design inspired by a man’s intimate body piercing.

While the inspiration is a little risqué, the end result is pure high-fashion drama. Boyce shared the bold look on Instagram, tagging Fox and captioning the photo simply: “Obsessed.”

Speaking to Allure magazine, she said, “I wanted to give her something new without going overboard. It’s the perfect mix of cute and cool for summer. We switched her usual almond shape to a medium coffin just to change up the vibe a bit. “The two-tone pink aura keeps it soft, and the double chrome studs give it that Prince Albert edge.”

Brittney also opened up on how she helped create the colourful, “glassy” look. She added: “I used Aprés Gel-X Sculpted Coffin Medium Tips and their airbrush machine to create the perfect aura effect.”

“The studs were sealed in with Orly Builder in a Bottle and finished with the Orly No Cleanse Topcoat for a clean, glassy finish.”

Jennifer’s Body star Megan previously spoke about how she “had a weird relationship with fashion” during her rise to fame, having gotten her big break in Michael Bay’s Transformers franchise in the 2000s.

She found herself “rejecting” her newfound celebrity and deliberately adopting a low-key style to stay closer to her old self.

She told WWD, “For so long, I was rejecting being famous and rejecting whatever this image was that was sort of hung on me, this person I was supposed to be.”

“I ran from fashion and lived in nothing but sweatpants or workout clothes and never wanted to express myself.”

She was struggling “with that existential question of” who she really is, but she has since learned to use her outfits as a form of expression. “I’m going through all these different phases of like, ‘what do I like and what can I.’”
