The couple set a new standard for clean eating when their personal chef Allen Campbell revealed the details of their strict diet, which consists of mainly raw, vegan foods. "80 percent of what they eat is vegetables. [I buy] the freshest vegetables. If it's not organic, I don't use it," he told Boston.com, adding that they keep up their healthy meal plan year-round, even on vacation. Beyoncé
The creator of Lemonade, Blue Ivy and an anthem for single ladies (among other momentous feats), the singer famously lauded the benefits of the 22-Day Revolution meal challenge, created by her trainer Marco Borges. And her husband Jay Z soon became a proponent of the new lifestyle. "One day, on their own, Jay called me, and he’s like ‘I got this great idea. You know that program that you just created, the 22-day vegan challenge? I want to do it. B wants to do it also. We want to go all in!'" Marco told People. The plant-based diet is said to promote weight loss and a healthy glow and is based on the idea that it takes 21 days to form a habit.
