Becky G and Jennifer Lopez have a lot in common, from the illustrious careers they both lead to their similar urban fashion style to being Latinas, but they also have something else they share a love for –  layering their necklaces. J.Lo has been rocking them for years, whether she’s shooting her campaign for Guess or performing during a concert, and Becky G has taken note of the style cue. On March 8th, the 21-year-old Mayores singer posted a photo to her Instagram account rocking two gold necklaces à la Jenny from the block, and she even wore the same brands that J.Lo wore on the set of World of Dance

The brands that both the Latina fashionistas love are George the Jeweler and House of Fine Gold, the latter being Christina Milian’s new jewelry line that she launched in November 2017 in collaboration with George. Together, they’ve created designs that other megastars such as Lady Gaga and Beyoncé have rocked, and George himself has created jewelry pieces for the likes of Gigi Hadid, Ashley Graham and Khloe Kardashian. Needless to say, they’ve both got the A-List covered in gold accessories.

Becky G and Jennifer Lopez go way back, so it makes sense that they share similar tastes when it comes to fashion. The pair collaborated in 2013 when Becky recreated J.Lo’s famous Jenny from the block song by paying tribute to the Puerto Rican icon creating her own version called Becky from the block. Upon collaborating back then for the music video, Becky G met Casper Smart, who she later recruited for her Mayores music video, in 2017, to play her love interest. Now, both singers keep making the top charts, and it was even announced late last year that Becky & Jennifer are the first lead women to rule top two on latin airplay chart since 2009.
