Kaia Gerber made her New York Fashion Week debut on Thursday, September 7, during the Calvin Klein show. Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber’s little girl, who turned 16 on September 3, was a natural as she ripped the runway in pieces from the designer’s spring/summer 2018 collection.

Kaia, who is the minimum age to walk in a runway show, took to Instagram to share her excitement after the show, writing: “CALVIN KLEIN! There are no words to describe how I feel, I love you endlessly Raf!.” The supermodel had the support of her brother, and fellow model, Presley Gerber, who sat front row cheering and recording videos of his sister as she made her way down the catwalk.

Other notable attendees included, Millie Bobby Brown, Paris Jackson, Brooke Shields, Anna Wintour and Lupita Nyong’o. Notably absent was Kaia’s supermodel mother, who has been one of her daughter's biggest support systems since entering the world of fashion. In May, the young model opened up about a key piece of advice Cindy, 51, gave her about the modeling industry. “My mom always just told me to stay true to myself and be myself and I thnk people don’t remind girls that enough,” she told E! News. “I think people might try to change themselves a lot in this industry.”
