Oscar winner, Golden Globes winner and now a grandfather! Michael Douglas' son Cameron, 39, has welcomed a daughter with his yoga instructor girlfriend, Viviane Thibes. Cameron announced the happy news on Monday, December 18, with an Instagram photo of Viviane from when she was pregnant.
Alongside the photo, the new dad wrote, "Today my appreciation for Mother’s all over the world has reached new heights...today I took part in a miracle as my baby girl was introduced to the world through a beautiful Amazon warrior...I’m so proud of you @vivianethibes. 🕊 #iloveyou."

Back in August, a spokesperson confirmed to People magazine that Cameron was expecting his first child. The spokesperson noted that everyone was "thrilled" and that Michael was "looking forward to being a grandfather."
Cameron was previously sentenced to five years in prison for drug-related offenses in 2010, but his term was extended further after he admitted to smuggling drugs into jail. He was placed in solitary confinement from 2012 until 2014, and was released to a halfway house in August 2016.

Earlier this month at the premiere of his stepmother Catherine Zeta-Jones’ new Lifetime movie, Cocaine Godmother, Cameron expressed his excitement about becoming a dad. He told Entertainment Tonight, “I’m really looking forward to it, and I think it’s going to be more inspiration and drive to really try to put a nice life together for my daughter.”
Cameron is 73-year-old Michael's only child with his first wife Diandra Luker; the former couple were married from 1977 until 1995. He has two half-siblings — Dylan Michael, 17, and Carys Zeta, 14, from Michael's marriage to Catherine Zeta-Jones.
