Michael Buble and Luisana Lopilato confirmed the disease suffered by their three year old son Noah

Through a statement, the couple announced the terrible news

Through a statement posted on their social media, Michael Bubleand Luisana Lopilato confirmed the worst news: the illness of their three year old son Noah. “We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US. We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children. Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well. At this difficult time, we ask only for your prayers and respect for our privacy. We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing.”

Speculation about the health of the eldest son of the couple began with Luisana’s unexpected trip to Los Angeles. Abandoning the set of  the film Los que aman, odian in Argentina, the actress traveled to the United States, where she met her husband, after the Argentine doctors couldn’t detect what was happening to the child. As reported by some media, she was scheduled to resume filming a few days later, something that obviously did not happen. On the other hand, concerns about the health of Noah increased when Michael Bublé canceled the promotional tour in Europe that was scheduled to promote his new work “Nobody but me.”

Initially, it was said that Noah had mononucleosis, then Javier Furgang, representative of the actress revealed he had mumps. Similarly, speculation about the health of Noah continue to rise fearing it was something more serious than what it was said. As it was reported by several Argentine media, Luisana Lopilato would not have been satisfied with the diagnoses given, so she decided to travel to the United States. Finally, the family has confirmed Noah's disease. Michael Buble and Luisana Lopilato are going through the hardest moments of their lives and, as expressed in the statement, they will remain next to their child during treatment. The couple has another child, Elijah, who was born last January.
