June 4: The One Love Manchester concert was going to go in a more somber direction until Ariana spoke with the mother of Olivia, a 15-year-old killed during the attack. She told her that her daughter would want her to plays the hits, so she did just that. Ariana took the stage several times throughout the night and was joined by boyfriend Mac Miller, Miley Cyrus, the Black Eyed Peas and Coldplay in addition to a slew of others who came in for night. The 23-year-old singer closed the concert with a tearful rendition of Somewhere Over the Rainbow. She also shared with the crowd, "I love you guys so much and I think that the kind of love and unity that you're displaying is the medicine the world really needs right now. June 4: Miley Cyrus made her way to Manchester after NYC to perform for her good friend Ariana. The duo came together to perform Don't Dream It's Over. After, the Malibu singer shared with the BBC: “I think what I’ve told her, too, is I plan on making music for the rest of my life, and I think that’s her plan, too. And I think if we can be this team until we’re old, continue to do things like this, let’s not stop today... So we’re always going to make sure that we keep doing this for the rest of our lives.
