It's been Rio
After 17 days, the 2016 Olympics came to an end on Sunday, August 21. The games went out with a colorful bang at the carnival-inspired closing ceremony held at Rio's Maracana Stadium, which featured dancers and samba music.

Simone Biles carries American flag twice her size
Four-time gold medalist Simone Biles was given the honor of carrying the American flag into the closing ceremony. Needless to say, it was a big undertaking for the 4'9" gymnast, who held the flag twice her size.

The Tonga flag bearer returns
Tonga's now infamous flag bearer, Pita Taufatofua, made his oiled up, shirtless return to the Olympic stage. The Taekwondo athlete catapulted to fame during the games' opening ceremony.
