Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez’s love doesn’t seem to cost a thing. In fact, after falling hard for each other, their respective careers have only surged. From encouraging each other to be their best selves to taking the time to beautifully blend their families, J-Rod appears to have discovered the secret to love - and we want to know what it is! They surprise each other
These two constantly keep each other on their toes, never ceasing to unveil amazing surprises. Like whenA-Rod surprised Jen with a red hot $120,700 Porsche convertibleor when JLo crashed ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball broadcast with Ella and Natasha to give Alex a “happy birthday” cake on live TV.
JLo said it best in her two-year anniversary post to Alex: “You surprise me in the most wonderful ways reminding me how blessed I am to have found you now in this moment at this time... our time...”
They have a lot in common
Jennifer and Alex’s relationship was built on shared interests. The pair have a ton in common (besides matching flannel pajamas), including: humble beginnings, being Leos, living life in the public eye, juggling a hectic schedule, working out to the max, going by chic nicknames (JLo, A-Rod - I mean, come on!) and being a parent, which brings us to...
They blended their families
The international entertainer and MLB star seemed to seamlessly blend their families together from the getgo. Not only do all the kids (Jen’s Max and Emme, and Alex’s Ella and Tashi) get along, but they seem to respect and love their parent’s partner! This is because both adults made a big effort to get to know and include their love’s children. It also helps that all parties are super cool!
Respect for the ex
J-Rod doesn’t let any past drama get in the way of their present happiness. Alex, who was previously married to Cynthia Scurtis, said: “I would say exes invited to wedding. All-inclusive. The more the merrier.”

PDA is A-OK
Alex and Jennifer don’t hold back on public displays of affection. This celeb couple puts their love centerstage, always holding hands and stealing smooches while stepping out together. This shows that they’re committed to each other and remain a united front!
