Inside JLo’s birthday festivities: ‘crying tears of joy!’
Jennifer Lopez turned 51 on Friday, July 24 with a sweet celebration at home. In stark contrast with her epic 50th blowout, the superstar had a low key day at her and Alex Rodriguez’s NYC pad. It seems she expired the day with her loved ones (Ella and Emme were spotted in a TikTok by Alex) and a sea of flowers and gifts. The birthday girl donned a Versace print silk robe as she basked in her sweet gifts. Having baseball on the tv hinted at her love A-Rod’s plans for later. The sports commentator had to do some work on baseball’s opening day, but was back in time to shower his sweetie with affection!

She’s just Jenny from the bakery. The freshly 51-year-old, who seemed to keep things casual for the day, asked fans a very important question: “What’s your fav bday cupcake?”

The cupcakes were nothing compared to this sweet confection which, along with the flood of presents and flowers, made Jennifer cry “tears of joy.”
Stop and smell the roses
Flowers lined the kitchen island, proving JLo’s point about the pandemic not changing love: “I can’t help but think how I spent my last birthday with so many of you last summer celebrating and how this year is so different,” she wrote. “But what’s the same is I still feel the love from all of you and I hope you feel it too!”
