Twenty-seven-year-old Simone grew up in the south of England, the child of recent immigrants to the country. She says that her family was made up of "doctors, engineers and accountants ", but she herself "thrived (2) in acreative fields". While she enjoyed playing piano and singing opera, she dreamed of becoming an actress.
Although it wasn't what they'd envisaged for her, Simone's parents moved house so that she could attend Redroofs Theatre School in Berkshire, which boasts (3) famous alumni including Kate Winslet.
In pursuit of her ambition as a teenager she also spent part of her time in California, where she has relatives. She then went on to study drama in London.

After graduating, Simone landed parts in TV series Sex Education and the Ryan Reynolds film Detective Pikachu, before taking on (4) Regency drama Bridgerton. It will be interesting to see what she will choose to do next.
While Bridgerton viewers have enjoyed following her character's steamy (5) romance with Anthony, played by Jonathan Bailey, off screen, it's not known whether Simone is dating anyone.
