Celebrities often do things on a grand scale, and that even applies to the size of their families. Here are just some of the famous faces with a lot more kids than the average.
Keeping up with the Kardashians matriarch Kris Jenner is a mum of six! The glamorous reality TV star had Kim, Kourtney, Khloe and Rob with her late husband Robert Kardashian. She then wed Bruce Jenner - now Caitlyn Jenner - and together they had Kylie and Kendall.
She explains: "Since I was a little girl, I always wanted to have a big family. I used to sit when I was in high school and think, I can't wait to have six kids - I specifically said the number six. Now, when I see all of us and it's Christmas Eve and we're all cosy (1) sitting around the tree sipping (2) hot chocolate, I get so excited for my big happy family."

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have six kids too. The Hollywood exes helped popularise international adoption with their multicultural ‘rainbow’ family of three biological children and three more adopted from Asia and Africa. Pop diva Madonna followed their example, giving her eldest two, Lourdes and Rocco, three Malawi-born siblings (3).
Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk is a dad-of-seven. He had six sons with his ex-wife Justine, however, their firstborn, Nevada, tragically died as a baby. The other boys are Griffin, Xavier, Damian, Saxon and Kai. Now, Elon and his musician girlfriend Grimes have a boy and a girl, affectionately dubbed X and Y, the youngest born via surrogate.
Veteran (4) Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger has no less than eight offspring (5), born over five decades!
His first child, born in 1970, is Karis, his daughter with Marsha Hunt. Bianca Jagger is mum to the singer's second-born, Jade Jagger, and he then went on to have four children with Jerry Hall; Elizabeth, James, Georgia and Gabriel. Luciana Morad welcomed Mick's seventh child, Lucas, while Melanie Hamrick is mum to the star's eighth child, Deveraux, who’s five.

And then there’s Eddie Murphy. The comic has a huge clan of 10, by five women.
He shares his firstborn, Eric, 32, with Paulette McNeely, and Bella, Zola, Shayne, Bria and Miles with Nicole Mitchell. He also has a son named Christian with Tamara Hood and is dad to Angel with former Spice Girl Mel B. Eddie's current partner is model Paige Butcher, with whom he shares Izzy and Max, his youngest, aged three.
