Celebrities rub shoulders with Royalty at
SIR DAVID AND
LADY CARINA
FROSTS
PRESTIGIOUS SUMMER GARDEN PARTY |
|
It was a very warm, Hello, good evening and welcome, as
Sir David and Lady Carina Frost greeted a mish-mash of royalty, politicians,
aristocrats and stars at their annual summer garden party, a highlight of the
London social season.
During his career as one of TVs most famous hosts, David Frost has
befriended a multitude of luminaries and it is they who enjoy he and his
wifes hospitality every year.
As guest Sir Bob Geldof observed: David Frosts parties are always
the most interesting. You see more famous people youd like to talk to in
a square inch than you normally would in a year. Among the royal guests
were the Earl and Countess of Wessex, and the Earls party-going brother
Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah, the Duchess of York.

Never ones to miss a bash,
Tom Parker Bowles and his sister
Laura make their way into the
Frosts Chelsea garden |
Camilla Parker Bowles mingled with the crowd minus Prince Charles, but
with her were her two children Laura and Tom while former prime minister
Baroness Margaret Thatcher led the ranks of politicians.
Guests from the world of showbusiness included Sir Michael Caine with wife
Shakira, and actors Roger Moore and Bob Hoskins. Also popping in was Felicity
Kendall, one of the Frosts Chelsea neighbours. |
